REFLECTION: UNIT 1
The lessons under Unit 1: The Non-Digital and Digital Skills and Tools in Providing Technology-Enhanced Lessons have been discussed during the past month. Lesson 1: Development and Use of Non-Digital or Conventional Technology Tools for Teaching and Learning was assigned to Cris Castillo's group. This includes a variety of analogue tools that, in a nostalgic way, took me back to my primary school years because they were prevalent in our classrooms then. Additionally, they were able to discuss the value of these IMs in education and how teaching can be enjoyable.
In my mind, all teachers should refer to The Non-Digital and Digital Skills and Tools in Delivering Technology-Enhanced Lessons as a reference for what to teach and how to teach it. How to set the example for the non-digital and digital tools you'll employ in a suitable learning setting or context. After that day, I wondered how we could incorporate the following digital and non-digital resources to assist and improve learning. ”. I should have asked my peers about this so I could learn more about it and get some informed opinions. My response is that it gives us methods for teaching more effectively in a society where cutting-edge technology is frequently utilized.
It brought back memories of my primary school years, when some of my teachers actually used and presented the non-digital teaching tools that were provided to us. It reminds me of those teaching materials when we tackle the subject under lesson one. I've got the urge to travel back in time. Yesterday, we simply enjoyed writing on the writing board, looking at the wall and board displays, using an abacus to count and solve math problems, and reading flip charts. a particular recollection that has always held a special place in my heart. I have the opportunity to explore teaching and the potential to produce those as a result of those resources.
If I, at my age, am astounded by the benefits of using digital tools in the classroom, imagine how much more a young child in primary school will benefit from being exposed to materials from their generation. Perhaps, with the right instruction and application, it could actually improve learning without having an impact on every student's conduct. My observations indicate that some parents and other individuals attribute their kids' evolving attitudes to technology, believing that it solely has detrimental effects.
